Remove your shoes, stand with your feet slightly apart and your back to a wall, measure straight from the floor to the top of your head.
Wear the bra you are planning to wear with this dress or it alike. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust and center the tape on your back, as showed in the picture.
Place the tap on the top of your shoulders and measure across your upper back from the tip of one shoulder to the tip of the other. Do not hunch over for an accurate measurement & please do refer to the illustration.
To find your natural waistline, bend to one side & measure around the narrowest part of the waistline, as instructed in the illustration. Run tape around natural waistline and measure it.
Wrap tape around the fullest part of your hips, measure around your body at the broadest part of your hips. Keep tape parallel with floor all the way around.
Start where your shoulder meets your neck and measure down following along the curve of your front to your natural waistline which you may have marked with a ribbon.
Stand straight with your feet together without wearing shoes. We define knee length as the area just below your knee caps. Measuring too high may result in a dress that is too short.
Start where your shoulder ends and measure down following along the length of your arm till the length point that you would like your sleeve to be.
Start where your shoulder meets your neck and measure down following along the curve of your back till the length point of the hips you would like your jacket to be.
Start at the point of your natural waistline and measure down following along till the end of the length that you would like your garment to be.
